Class Quick Guide
Confused by the class rules? Here’s a quick guide to help you answer the question of:
What classes can I enter with my motorcycle?
Can’t find your motorcycle on here? Don’t worry! As long as you fit these basic requirements, Cascadia Supermoto will find at least two classes for you to run in:
- No sportbike-style motorcycles (i.e. fairings and clip-ons) except in the minibike and scooter classes.
Sorry, this is a restriction imposed by one of our venues, and means that no Ninja 250s are allowed. - No twin-cylinder engines over 580cc (exceptions for Heavyweight motorcycles).
- No engines with more than two cylinders.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE LIST, JUST A QUICK GUIDE! NOT ALL ELIGIBLE BIKES ARE LISTED HERE! CHECK THE CLASS RULES!
Can I run in Open Supermoto if I’m not a pro?
YES! Open is for riders who aren’t new to the sport, have at least a little bit of speed, and are comfortable in a racing environment. The Open class is the race for the club #1 plate, not just for Pro riders who are visiting the series. We do not expect any experienced club-level supermoto riders to feel like they are dangerously slow in that class. Every experienced rider in the club should have a shot at the #1 plate, so all of you experienced riders should turn out for this class!
